London and Paris Trip Report: Days 5-7

A Wonderful Trip With New Discoveries

One reason I keep coming back to Paris, even after 35 visits or so, is that I always discover something new to me.  On my past tours of Paris, I took several visits until I found things like the Musée l’Orangerie, my favorite restaurant, Le Pre Verre, the Musée Arts et Metiers, and the passageways and walks that make a visit to Paris almost like a new experience every time I go.   Read about my last 3 days in Paris and find out about the sites I have visited again and what’s new in Paris for me.

Paris and London Trip Report: Day 3

London in the Morning, Paris at Night

Traveling Professor Venus de MiloWhat a day it was!  We visited two of the top museums in the world in one day.  Can you guess which ones they are?   We started out our day in London took the trip under the channel to Paris, the City of Light.  It was tough to say goodbye to London, because the people were so friendly, the sites were so exciting, and the food was out of this world.   But it is "bonjour" to Paris, and we are looking forward to a week of art, culture, cuisine and fun.

Paris and London Trip Report: Day 2

Unusually Great Weather in London

Big Ben Traveling ProfessorThere has been unusually good weather in London.  Sunny in the 80's.   I usually don't like to travel to Europe in the summer, but the crowds have been manageable if we pick and choose the times and places to visit.  It's our last full day in London before we take the chunnel over to Paris, so we want to make the most of our visit to the historic and friendly city of London.   Read the blog to find out more of our exciting day (and night) in London.

Why European Travel is Going to Get More Expensive

Traveling Professor Small Group Tours to ParisIn a few years, it may either be too impractical or too expensive for the average American to travel to Europe.   In my opinion, there are a few reasons why it may soon be nearly impossible to take that trip to Rome you always wanted to go to.  The cost of a trip to Paris may be prohibitively expensive by 2020.  Hotel and restaurant prices in Spain might be out of reach.  Read my blog post to find out why Europe travel to Paris, Italy, or Spain might be a good idea now instead of later.
