Market are the heart and soul of Paris. Local shop at markets mostly for food but there are markets for all kinds of goods. The Traveling Professor's first trip to Paris was in the late 1990's. Since then, through his small group tours to Paris, he has taken 70+ trips to Paris. Sometimes he travels alone and sometimes he leads his small group tours to Paris. Over time, the realization is that there is much more to Paris than the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, or the Orsay Museum. We only did a few small group tours in 2024. We traveled to Iceland once, the Normandy Invasion Beaches twice. We did a Croatia small ship cruise in September/October.
