Pack and get ready to enjoy one of the most beautiful, exotic, and popular destinations to be found.   Arrive in Zagreb to enjoy a 3-night pre-cruise tour of Croatia followed by an unforgettable week-long cruise on the southern Adriatic Sea.  Island hop through the best of Croatia on our deluxe small ship cruiser, the MV Aquamarin.  Relax and let the captain and crew take care of you.  Afternoons and evenings are carefully planned to explore Croatia's finest destinations with local experts.  There is plenty of time to enjoy all the features of a luxury cruiser too.

DAY 1, Wednesday:  Arrival in ZAGREB (Cocktails and Dinner Included)
Check into the centrally located 4-star Zagreb hotel.  Your hosts, Steve and Linda, will treat travelers to a get-to-know-you cocktail hour followed by dinner.

DAY 2, Thursday:  ZAGREB WALKING TOUR (Breakfast Included)
Morning city tour of Zagreb includes a walk through the historic Upper Town to visit sites like St. Mark's Church, the Cathedral, the Government Palace and the Lotrščak tower. Overnight in Zagreb.

DAY 3, Friday:  ZAGREB – PLITVICE LAKES – SPLIT (Breakfast)
Morning departure towards the spectacular Plitvice National Park, consisting of 16 lakes, connected with a series of waterfalls. Enjoy a 3 hour walk in this wonderful environment with a boat ride on the emerald green Kozjak Lake. Drive to Split for overnight stay in our 4-star hotel.

DAY 4, Saturday:  SPLIT (Breakfast and Dinner Included)

Enjoy the morning before checking in at 2pm on our cruise ship.   After settling in, enjoy a guided tour of the city.  Split is a historic town under UNESCO protection. One will find an abundance of Roman architecture – of special interest is the magnificent palace, once inhabited by the Roman emperor, Diocletian.  Afterwards return to the ship for a welcome reception and cocktail.  Overnight on ship in Split.

DAY 5 Sunday:  BOL, HVAR (Breakfast and Lunch Included)
Morning departure to the island of Brač where a swimming stop is planned at the most famous beach in Dalmatia.  Bol is a typical fishermen’s village converted into a popular destination while still retaining its original charm. Continue towards the jet-set island of Hvar with lunch on board at the Pakleni Islands. Hvar is the longest and sunniest island in the Adriatic known for lush lavender fields and breathtaking beauty. Arrive in the afternoon on a tour of the town’s historical landmarks - the Renaissance cathedral with its original tower and the oldest community theatre in Europe founded in 1612. Hike up the zig-zag path to the town fort overlooking the harbor for lovely scenic views of the ship and the Pakleni islands. In the evening Hvar offers a great choice of dining and entertainment.  Overnight in the port.

DAY 6, Monday:  HVAR and BIŠEVO (Blue Cave), VIS (Breakfast, Lunch and Tasting Included)
Early morning cruise towards the small island Biševo to visit the magnificent Blue cave.  Afterwards we cruise to the island of Vis, once a strategic naval Yugoslav base and closed to the public for years. Due to this isolation, Vis retains a special charm – “the Mediterranean as it once was” making it a very special visit.  Sample local wines in one of the Vis authentic wineries.  Choose to visit the remains of the Roman thermal baths, the city museum, or simply take a walk enjoying the views of the beautiful Villae Rusticae situated along the waterfront. Overnight in the port of Vis.

DAY 7, Tuesday:  VIS and KORČULA (Breakfast and Lunch Included)
Early morning departure towards the island of Korčula, known as the birthplace of Marco Polo but not before stopping at one of the secluded bays for lunch.  Arrival in Korčula is followed by a guided walking tour of this enchanting walled medieval town.  The fish-bone street pattern was used in Korčula’s design to provide a natural cooling effect.  Korčula has an excellent choice of restaurants.  Otherwise, join us for an excursion to small village nearby for a typical Dalmatian dinner. Overnight in Korčula.

DAY 8, Wednesday:  KORČULA and MLJET (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)
This morning, we head further south to the Island of Mljet. The legend says Greek hero Odysseus spent years on this island when he was captured by the nymph Calypso.  Stroll to the famous salt lakes in the Mljet National Park and enjoy the boat ride to St. Mary Isle to visit an ancient Benedictine monastery, an old abbey and a Church dating back to the 12th Century. Alternatively, kayaks, bicycles, scooters or convertible cars can be rented to roam around the National Park on your own, but beware of the nymphs!  Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the island. Dinner on board and overnight in port Polača or Pomena.

DAY 9, Thursday: MLJET and SLANO (STON): (Breakfast, Lunch and Captain’s Dinner)
Departure for the small village of Slano on the mainland, a peaceful fishermen's village and the starting point for Ston, a once fortified small village famous for its oysters. After exploring the town’s vast medieval ramparts, a short coastal walk leads us to an oyster farm to learn more about oysters and a special tasting of this delicacy. Transfer to the ship for the Captain’s farewell dinner with live entertainment.

DAY 10, Friday:  SLANO (STON) and DUBROVNIK (Breakfast and Lunch Included)
Early morning departure to Dubrovnik.  The special charm of this world-famous ancient city are the buildings that have remained from the time of the old Dubrovnik Republic. Many of the monuments belong to the modest Renaissance architecture with traces of Gothic style. Before we tie up at Gruž harbor, we cruise alongside the old Dubrovnik city walls while lunch is served on deck. After docking, transfer to the old town for the guided walking tour of this magical town. Take the cable car from the Old Town to Srđ mountain to enjoy scenic views of the Walls and Elaphiti Islands.  For the energetic, we recommend a walk on top of the city walls, over a mile in length.  Overnight on ship in Dubrovnik.

DAY 11, Saturday: DUBROVNIK (Breakfast Included)
Time to say goodbye to the crew and all your new friends! Check out by 9.00 am and transfer to Dubrovnik airport.
